The Port Authority Core Soft Shell Vest has a woven polyester shell bonded to a water-resistant film and backed with polyester microfleece. It is rated for 1,000 mm waterproofing and 1,000 g/m² breathability, with a wind-resistant, water-repellent finish. A zip-through cadet collar with chin guard, a reverse-coil front zipper, zippered pockets and an open hem keep it clean and functional, and the heather colors use a stretch poly-spandex shell. It costs far less than The North Face Ridgewall Soft Shell Vest, which makes it an easy default for a whole team.

Is the vest waterproof? It has a water-resistant film, a 1,000 mm waterproof rating and a water-repellent finish, which suits light rain and wind. It is a soft shell vest, not a full rain shell.

Where does the logo go on a vest? Left chest, up to 4x4 inches, is the classic spot for embroidery. You can also add a back logo up to 10x10 inches.
